Well Water Treatment for El Paso-Area Homes
Well water around El Paso and Las Cruces often carries iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide on top of hardness. That means orange or black staining, a rotten-egg smell and scale. We install two-stage systems built for it.

Air-injection oxidation breaks iron and sulfur out of solution, a catalytic carbon and Katalox Light bed filters them, then a CG10 resin tank softens. No chemicals to buy.

Operating needs and upkeep
- 110V power for the valves (and the injection pump on the peroxide system)
- About 9 lb of salt and 45 to 60 gallons of water per regeneration
- The peroxide system needs its tank refilled with hydrogen peroxide
- Both tanks backflush on their own schedule
Common questions
Can a regular softener handle well water?
Not if the well has iron or sulfur. Iron fouls softening resin. The well systems oxidize and filter iron and sulfur first, then soften.
Do you install in Las Cruces and rural areas?
Yes. We cover Greater El Paso, Santa Teresa, Sunland Park and Las Cruces with our own crew.
Does the air-injection system use chemicals?
No. It draws in air and vents it each cycle. Only the Iron & Sulfur system uses hydrogen peroxide, which leaves no salt or chloride behind.
